**This Position Reports To**
Production Manager


**Your Role And Responsibilities**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality. Each day, you will execute the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. You will also operate machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.

**You Will Be Mainly Accountable For**

- Performing routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairing and fitting simple replacement parts
- Ensuring regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set-up, programming activities, and troubleshooting and reporting issues, if any; and maintaining detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Keeping track of approved, defective units, and final products
- Set up and optimize injection molding machines

**Qualifications For The Role**

- Formal training as a plastics technologist or toolmaker
- Few years of practical experience in injection molding, including machine setup, start‑up, and production troubleshooting
- Proficient in setting up, adjusting, and optimizing injection molding machines, tools, hot‑runner systems, and process parameters
- Experience in sampling new injection molds, conducting initial runs, and preparing complete production and quality documentation
- Solid understanding of quality standards, safety and environmental regulations, and practical application of 5S and structured process control
- High level of organizational skills, technical problem-solving ability, and teamwork in a molding environment
- Good German language skills, spoken and written, for effective communication, documentation, and coordination on the shop floor
