**Role Overview:**

Amperio is a recently acquired entity of the Legrand Group, responsible for the delivery and installation of data center solutions across Europe and playing a key role in LDCS project execution.

The Operational Buyer coordinates and executes day-to-day procurement activities to ensure materials and services are available on time for projects. Working closely with project managers, the role holder drives supply continuity, ensures ERP accuracy, and anticipates, escalates, and resolves operational risks.

The Operational Buyer ensures that project timelines are met and supports Legrand’s mission to deliver high-quality, reliable data center solutions across Europe, contributing directly to project success, customer satisfaction, and overall operational performance. It also supports compliant international flows of goods by coordinating customs activities, managing trade documentation, and ensuring the proper application of Incoterms.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**1. Operational Procurement & Project Execution**

· Select the most appropriate ordering options from suppliers, within approved frameworks, based on availability, lead times, technical requirements, project priorities and prices when external suppliers.

· Place orders with Legrand factories and external suppliers, acting as first-line negotiator and escalating issues when needed.

· Manage Opex and Capex purchases including tooling, machines, and small equipment from pan-European accounts, following bidding processes.

· Track transport conditions and supplier agreements; review Legrand-approved suppliers for sourcing analysis.

· Verify all invoice annotations, ensuring correct destination, order numbers and intra-community numbers. Manage VAT triangulation and handle administrative documents, with particular attention to complex non-EU shipments.

· Coordinate with insurance brokers for transport and liability coverage.

· Monitor orders using an order tracker tool; provide project managers and clients with timely and accurate information for decision-making and reporting purposes.

**2. Stakeholder Coordination & Visibility**

· Act as the main operational procurement contact for project and operational teams.

· Ensure smooth coordination of service procurement and subcontractor management, including monitoring material and service flows.

· Provide clear visibility on delivery performance, risks, and order status for internal and client-facing purposes.

· Collaborate closely with logistics, site teams, and finance for compliant and timely processing.

**3. ERP Data Accuracy & Reporting**

· Create, maintain, and update purchase orders in ERP system.

· Ensure accuracy of quantities, delivery dates, supplier references, documentation and other required information.

· Lead reporting on order status, delivery performance, and operational KPIs.

· Ensure data integrity throughout the procurement and project lifecycle.

**4. Tools & Inventory Management**

· Support management of tools, kits, boxes, and flight cases, including inventory control, replacements, and temporary setups.

**5. Compliance, Governance & Continuous Improvement**

· Follow internal procurement policies, workflows, and authorization levels.

· Maintain proper documentation for audits, invoicing, and project close-out.

· Identify recurring execution issues and recommend pragmatic process improvements.

· Support a strong compliance mindset in all procurement activities.

**6. Market Knowledge & Expertise**

· Maintain strong understanding of the electro-technical market to inform sourcing decisions and supplier evaluations.

· Contribute to procurement strategies that optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.

**Qualifications & Experience:**

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, procurement or a technical field
- 3–5 years of experience in operational procurement or supply chain execution in project-based or technical environments
- Knowledge of electro-technical market

· Experience coordinating customs and cross-border shipments with freight forwarders or brokers

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
- Strong execution mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proven critical thinking and sound judgment in assessing operational risks and making decisions
- Strong agility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-changing project environment
- Solution-oriented and innovative, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, and reliable in data and documentation management
- Strong communication skills in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in French or German is a plus.
