Hinwil (Zurich)

We are looking for an experienced Requirements Engineer for our client, who will support the harmonization and consolidation of product requirements across various mechatronic products and software platforms.

The role includes the elicitation, definition, and consolidation of requirements within the Codebeamer Application Lifecycle Management tool.

**Tasks**
:

- Support the global Product Requirements Engineering team in the elicitation, analysis, and definition of stakeholder and system requirements
- Consolidate and clean up conflicting or unclear requirements across mechatronic products and multiple software platforms
- Contribute to the migration of requirements from Jira to Codebeamer
- Document requirements efficiently in the Codebeamer requirements engineering tool
- Identify gaps, overlaps, inconsistencies, and dependencies in requirement sets
- Define modular, scalable, and reusable functional building blocks
- Create and maintain UML diagrams and other specification artefacts
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary stakeholders (e.g., mechatronics, software engineering, product management)
- Consider change impacts and support structured stakeholder communication

**Your profile**
:

- Degree from ETH or a Technical University (Software, Mechatronics, or Engineering)
- 5–8 years of professional experience in requirements engineering at stakeholder and system level
- Strong consulting mindset, analytical thinking, and independent working style
- Experience working with interdisciplinary stakeholder groups
- Proficiency in UML and model-based specification
- 3–5 years of experience in software engineering and with Application Lifecycle / Requirements Engineering tools
- Experience with Codebeamer is a plus (nice to have)
- English: business fluent; German: nice to have
